SAMMIE
Neutered male, grey tabby, born September 2009. Sammie is very friendly with people. He tends to bully other cats so would do best as an only cat. He does not like dogs. If you are interested in this beautiful boy, please let us know your interest using the form below and we will send you a full adoption application.
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit voluntary organization dedicated to the humane treatment and improving the welfare of animals. We exist soley by the donations of time, money and adoption fees. We do not receive federal, state or local tax dollars.
Our Mission, through our Foster/Adoption Program is to rescue, assist with and provide for the health and welfare of animals that have been abused, neglected, abandoned, surrendered, lost or injured.
We have found homes for over 194 animals in the last three years. Thank you to those who have given their hearts and homes to a fostered animal.
The cost for adoption is $175 for dogs, and $125 for cats. Please remember that we take care of the wellness exam, shots, and spaying/neutering when we receive the animal.

Give of your Time
The Humane Society of Caroline County provides plenty of opportunities to volunteer your time. The HSCC organizes numerous events throughout the year and can always use an extra hand to prepare, set-up, staff and manage the events.
The HSCC is looking for volunteers to fill the following positions:

Treasurer(will be bonded)
All of these positions are volunteer but you will have fun, meet new people and help homeless animals. If you are interested in any of these positions or more information please contact us at 804-867-7534.

Give of your Skill
What do a carpenter, artist, cook, lawyer, clerk and abusinesswoman have in common? Answer: they can all use their skills for the Humane Society of Caroline County to raise money and increase awareness about animal cruelty. If you are willing to donate, the HSCC will find a meaningful way to use for your talent or skill. This website and domain hosting, for instance, was created and donated free of charge to the HSCC.

The Humane Society of Caroline County obtains most of its funding from Fund Raisers held thoughout the year. Your participation in these events is a great opportunity for fun, laughter and a belly full of great food. Visit our Facebook for event announcements.

The Humane Society of Caroline County gladly accepts monetary donations. Donation checks can always be mailed to HSCC, P.O. Box 75, Ruther Glen, Virginia 22546.
